Fox smiled so wide that it ached, unable to stop just gazing down at Mingyu like he was the only thing that existed in the universe. He really did look like an angel, like this, and Fox felt his cheeks warm. Had anyone ever claimed to miss him before?
“That’s a dangerous promise,” he teased, grin widening. “I’m never going to want to leave, at that rate.”
He leaned down, stealing a long, slow, lingering kiss, tugging gently at Mingyu’s bottom lip as he pulled back.
“But I like it that you miss me,” he whispered quietly, as if it was a secret. “I want you to miss me. If only so that you’ll kiss me all the more when I come back.” He leaned in, nose rubbing at Mingyu’s cheek, then as his ear as he pressed a kiss to his throat. “Just a little feral creature who keeps sneaking into heaven to steal a moment with his angel. Or two. Or ten. Or ten thousand.”
