Fox's smile was usually easy and wide, never far from his lips and often half teasing. That was not the smile that was cautiously tracing across his face now, his eyes soft as they searched Mingyu's, as if looking for the lie. It held there, tentative and vulnerable for a few seconds, and then it grew, creasing at the edges of his eyes.
